Performing artist Amitabh Bachchan was good to go to play a Pakistani hero in Oscar-winning sound originator Resul Pookutty's directorial debut. Be that as it may, decaying ties among India and Pakistan as far back as the Pulwama assault, seem to have provoked the Bollywood megastar to turn the job down, detailed Bollywood Hungama.
As per a report, Pookutty has been talking about the undertaking with the Paa star for a long time now and was eager to play the character at first.
"Resul had been examining the film's content with Bachchan sahab for a long time now. Bachchan Saab cherished the harmony message in Resul's Indo-Pak story. Resul sat tight for his and they were at last expected to go on the floors. Be that as it may, when relations declined between the two nations, Bachchan began having apprehensions," said a source. The report included that the B-town veteran wouldn't have any desire to be named 'hostile to national' or entangled in any debates.
Bachchan was most recently seen in Badla, a spine chiller with Taapsee Pannu ahead of the pack. He as of late took to Twitter to reprimand why the Sujoy Ghosh-helmed movie was not promoted by neither the maker, the chief himself or anybody from the business.
"About time somebody began discussing this quiet achievement! Since, not a solitary individual has even spent a nano second to compliment the accomplishment of Badla."
He will next be found in the multi-starrer Brahmastra which is being coordinated by Ayan Mukerji and created by Karan Johar.
